Good luck, let us know if the fluid change helped. Shut off the engine, wait a bit, and recheck the oil level. Start the tractor, raise and lower the 3 point hitch several times, and move the tractor to level ground. Change the filter, replace the drain plug, and then add maybe 3.5 gals of fluid through the rubber plug right beside the trans fluid dipstick in front of the seat. The filter is just inside the left side rear wheel, so you can reach it pretty easily. Pull the plug and let the fluid drain out. I seem to recal it is metric, maybe 21 or 22 mm. Beneath the drawbar receiver there's a drainplug for the hydraulic fluid. Park the tractor facing up hill and lower the 3 point if it will go down. The dealer has filters, but you can also use Wix 51210 or NAPA FIL1210. My owner's manual says you can also use SAE 80 GL-3 or GL-4, so if you want to try WalMart or Tractor Supply, you may find it there. It holds 4.5, but you'll never be able to drain all the old stuff out completely. If you want to change fluid, buy 4 gals of Permatran III from your MF dealer. Ok, so the simple fix didn't help! Sorry that wasn't it.
